What is the Mission of Casa de Alabanza?
The mission of Casa de Alabanza is to light the way to a personal relationship with Jesus. We do this by enabling our staff and volunteers to create and lead focused environments designed to engage people’s hearts and minds.
How Does Casa de Alabanza Carry Out This Mission?
We employ three environments that will help people move towards growing in a personal relationship with Jesus.
The Living Room – (Guests)
When you receive guests in your home for the first time, you usually have them sit in the living room. You take special measures to ensure that this area is inviting and comfortable so that your guests will want to return. Our Sunday morning worship services are “living room” environments. We expect first time visitors, so we do everything we can to provide them with a memorable experience both spiritually and socially that will compel them to return.
The Dining Room – (Friends)
The dining room is the part of the house where friends sit down to eat and interact. This is a smaller environment than the living room, which allows people with similar interests and/or stages of life to get to know each other. Casa de Alabanza creates regular events at various locations designed to bring people together and help them to form friendships within our church.
The Family Room – (Family)
Most of us either have a family room or we’ve visited someone that does. It is usually the most comfortable and informal place in the house. It’s a great place to relax and just be yourself. This is the kind of environment we try to create in our small groups: Community Groups. They consist of about six to eight individuals or five to six couples that meet regularly to study the Bible, pray, be accountable to each other, and develop deep friendships.
When and Where are Your Services?
Casa de Alabanza is temporarily meeting on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. at the Grand Doral Ballroom in the West Miami Intercontinental Hotel. The address is
2505 NW 87th Ave., Doral.
How Should I Dress?
We understand you might be concerned about dressing appropriately, but we’ve made it easy for you. Don’t worry about how you dress. Our pastor doesn’t even wear a suit and tie. Most people dress casual or business casual to our services.
What is your Sunday Worship Service like?
Our Sunday worship services are designed with guests in mind. We want our first-time visitors to feel welcomed and loved by a God who desires to have a personal relationship with them. When you walk into the Grand Doral Ballroom at the Intercontinental Hotel West Miami, you will be greeted at the door by smiling faces and friendly people who will assist you in any way they can.
Once the service begins, feel free to participate however you feel most comfortable. We use powerful music, skits, and technology to present the Gospel in a way that people can grasp and apply in their everyday lives. Senior Pastor Bobby Cruz Jr. speaks life-changing truths in a genuine way and from the heart. You will not walk away from a Sunday service without understanding how your life can be impacted by following God’s word.
At the end of the service, don’t forget to pass by our Guest table. We have a small gift for you.
Where do I take my Children?
Kidz Shack is our environment for children between the ages of 1 and 10. During our adult service, our Children’s Ministry staff cares for and teaches our children in one of the Intercontinental Hotel’s smaller meeting rooms. Register your child every Sunday in the Grand Doral Ballroom lobby.
What do you have for teens?
Middle and high school students currently gather with the adult congregation on Sundays and are encouraged to participate in HOUSE student small groups that meet in various homes throughout the city.
