Read the Directions First.

This week’s message frame of reference of the back to school series was a TEST. The pastor shared a school experience when he took a test once and he struggled through it as a result of not reading the most important part of the test; the directions. He said, and not a quote, if he would have read the directions first he would have realized he only had to do only three pages of the test rather than the 20 given.  The point was made clear, we attempt and struggle to pass this life’s test but we have not read the directions first. God has given us a test which contain about 600 + laws, commandments (Questions) on how to live life and we are actually trying to pass it without reading first the directions. In one of the pastor’s examples he mentioned what good is it to work for a marriage if you do not have time for marriage. God’s tests directions state, the most important part of the test, only answer question number one and two, “Love God and love thy neighbor” (Relationships). This is precisely the direction you have to take in life. The 600 + commandments (Questions) are simply a byproduct of the first two.  In other words out the 600 + questions on how to live life you only have to answer question number 1and 2 in order to know how to live life to its full potential.
